CITYSLIC THE OG is a Sparta, Georgia artist, storyteller, and family-centered creative whose return to music reflects more than two decades of experience, personal transformation, and renewed purpose. Blending Southern hip-hop, melodic harmonies, spiritual reflection, and uplifting messages, he creates music that resists being confined to a single category. His sound moves according to feeling—sometimes delivered through direct, grounded verses and other times through melody—but always with the intention of encouraging listeners to think, grow, and recognize the possibilities within themselves.

Music became part of CITYSLIC THE OG’s foundation at an early age. Raised in Sparta by his mother and grandmother, he found comfort in the songs, humming, and church-inspired melodies he heard around his family. He grew up within a larger creative community of singers, dancers, comedians, artists, athletes, and speakers, making self-expression and ambitious thinking feel natural.

His hometown also exposed him to poverty, violence, limited economic opportunities, and the pressures that often affect small communities. Those experiences shaped both his worldview and his early path. The loss of a close cousin—someone he regarded as a brother—became one of the first events that forced him to confront the direction of his life and search for a greater purpose.

As a young artist, CITYSLIC THE OG traveled between Sparta and Atlanta while building relationships, performing, and developing his voice. His history includes regional performances, educational appearances for young people, radio connections, and a recorded collaboration with Southern hip-hop artist Pastor Troy. While working in school food service, he also used music to engage students through performances focused on health and nutrition. He later participated in community programming created to encourage and support local children.

Although music remained part of his life, CITYSLIC THE OG acknowledges that his earlier career lacked the consistency, preparation, and business structure necessary to sustain momentum. He experienced missed opportunities and learned difficult lessons about music registration, ownership, documentation, and protecting creative work. Rather than hide those experiences, he now sees them as part of what he calls his “mystery school”—the education gained through living, losing, learning, and evolving.

The death of his mother became a defining turning point. As an only child, their relationship carried tremendous emotional weight. Her passing caused him to slow down, separate himself from unhealthy cycles, and more fully understand the wisdom she had tried to share with him. That transformation strengthened his commitment to family, spirituality, authenticity, and purposeful creation.

Today, CITYSLIC THE OG is building alongside his wife and creative counterpart, ELA OMG, and five of his sons through 126 OMG Entertainment. The collective represents family unity, generational legacy, spiritual growth, and the belief that parents can use their own experiences to create a stronger path for their children. His solo identity carries the history and perspective of an experienced artist, while 126 OMG expands that mission through the voices, personalities, and talents of his family.

His current single, “Blessed,” captures the heart of this new chapter. Rooted in gratitude, reflection, and second chances, the song connects the trials of his past with the clarity he has found in the present. It honors the influence of his mother while expressing his belief that hardship can become instruction and that transformation remains possible when a person is willing to step outside destructive cycles.

“Blessed” also introduces the broader creative vision behind Divine Order, Volume 1, a developing project designed to present CITYSLIC THE OG and the 126 OMG family through clean, positive, spiritually grounded music. Rather than presenting perfection, the music communicates growth in progress: a husband, father, and artist using what he has survived to build something meaningful for the next generation.

CITYSLIC THE OG’s mission is grounded in unconditional love, individuality, and awakening people to their own potential. He is not interested in forcing his beliefs on an audience. Instead, he seeks to offer a spark—music capable of reaching people who have struggled, changed direction, started again, or questioned whether their opportunity had passed.
